Charlotte Blizzard - Take Two

Another day off from school...

Last night when we went to the grocery store (yes we did the southerner trip for bread and milk but unlike every other panicked individual in the store, we actually needed it), it was spitting a few snowflakes but since it stopped by the time we got home, we weren't expecting snow this morning.

No need to send supplies, it was all melted by lunchtime.

What do you have in there??

For Maison, her shopping cart is a necessity. Without it, she couldn't possibly lug all of her treasured possessions from one room to the next.

Now that Maison is in bed, I was able to take an official inventory of the shopping cart.

-Leapster and two additional games
-2 baby blankets
-Rabbit
-2 coloring books with 4 markers
-Dr Seuss and Princess books
-2 sheets of stickers
-Cookie tin full of Matchbox cars and My Little Ponies
-Dora and 3 additional pairs of shoes
-baby bottle
-3in stack of party napkins (snowmen, Dora and Ariel)
-40 party cups (hearts, Dora and Ariel)
- 15 Disney Princess plates

Charlotte Snow Storm

Everything in Charlotte has come to a standstill... A snow storm (more like a dusting!) has shut everything down. Maison was so excited to go out and play... Unfortunately, there wasn't even enough snow to make it worth dressing warm for.

Maison's Big Show

Maison had her Big Show recital at gymnastics today. She did fabulous. It's amazing how much she's learned this past year and how strong she has gotten. This semester, her big accomplishments were a backwards roll, a tummy roll over the high bar, a one leg balance on the beam and a somersault on the beam.

Saturday Morning Football

On Saturday mornings, Maison and I go watch Saylor play football. Though Maison enjoys cheering for the guys, she'd much rather play with her friends. She met some new friends this past week, Savannah and Trevor. They were so incredibly cute together...
