In and Out, In and Out...

Maison was so excited to go to the beach over Memorial Day weekend. She couldn't wait to see the ocean... until she got there...


At first, she was so excited she couldn't stand still much less keep her feet on the ground...

Then she quickly realized that the ocean isn't all that warm in May...















With a little encouragement, she gave it another try...


But nope, still not buying...

This time we even got a little wet...


















When all was said and done, we spent the better part of the day playing in the puddles and collecting seashells.

Primrose Spring Fling

Though she spent most of the time playing on the same play ground that she plays on everyday at school, she also won a few prizes at the bean bag toss (in part because Saylor and I were running the booth), rode a pony, jumped in the castle and had her face painted.

Soccer School

As fast as Maison is, we had to give soccer a try. Instead of league play, we opted for Soccer School, where they actually develop some skills before they start chasing the ball around a field. She's doing great and is a huge fan of Coach Justin.
